this works great! i use it on my angle grinder and it eats away the paint VERY quickly and there is almost no pressure required to make it so. i strongly recommend to sand the metal underneath with a high-grid sandpaper to make the metal somewhat smooth again before painting it again. this disc does affect metal and will properly scratch it up, but a lot less than those sanding wheels available for an angle grinder.obviously, this disc is the most efficient for larger and easy to reach surfaces. i recommend to get something smaller if you need to get access to tighter spaces or corners.

Used to take rust off a metal gate prior to repainting. Really made light work of an otherwise time consuming job. Only one issue to bear in mind. The pads are thick and the studs on the tightening lever provided with my angle grinder proved to be too short so had to manufacture a suitable replacement.

Das ist super, wenn man gezielt arbeiten möchte, ohne das darunterliegende Material zu beschädigen.Allerdings zeigt sich bei verwinkelten oder schwer zugänglichen Stellen eine Schwäche: Mit den Scheiben kommt man einfach nicht überall gut ran. Für gerade, gut erreichbare Flächen sind sie eine tolle Wahl, aber bei komplexen Geometrien stößt man schnell an Grenzen.Fazit: Klare Empfehlung für gerade Oberflächen – hier überzeugen die CSD Scheiben. Für stark gekrümmte oder schwer zugängliche Bereiche sucht man besser nach einer Alternative.
