I decided to try these out, in order to compare against the push fit connection irrigation heads. I still prefer the push fit, because they are faster, easier, and just as effective. The price on these is still attractive, though... Coming in at just under a quarter (US) for each sprinkler/dripper, these allow precise delivery of water to EXACTLY where the water is needed. This means that my wife is not going to be watering the weeds that pop up in everyone's garden. Such precise deliver is of great benefit in reducing the cost of the crop yielded by each plant. Water doesn't need to run as long, in order to achieve desired soaking level. Given the advantages, I'd say these can definitely be recommended to the average gardener. With a water timer, the time consumption demands on the individual are also reduced, which leaves more time to allot to other activities. This, in my opinion, is time well spent. Ease of use and consistency of the seal are outstanding, so water waste is also not an issue, for the most part. None of the heads that I've tested leaked, so there seems to be a good measure of quality control, as well. For the price, this is an excellent value.

ios a drip system, anytime I am watering a plant that needs more than the smallest amount of water, I prefer a staked sprayer, on the assumption (I have no idea if true :-) that watering over a larger area is better for the plant than just an IV drip into a single point on the ground, even though these are more expensive than a single dripper. These seem well made and at a good price. I found the connections to be as good as any barbed emitters. I'm not sure the screw cap makes for a stronger connection but it probably discourages critters from chewing at the connection, which is the spot where the water makes the most noise. Would have given 5 stars if they included in the mix some with two connections so they could be placed in series.

I use these stake emitters in my ground based pots and grow bags. Excellent for determining just how much water I want each plant on the irrigation system to have. This bulk pack goes a long way to making a great setup up for your next grow or flower project. They work well and are easy to both connect and adjust.
