At £4.19 for 50 at time of review, these are some cheap and cheerful buttons which will give a pretty vintage effect as long as you don’t look too close! They are just moulded plastic with a pearly finish and crystals glued into the petals, no great quality here. They are also not suitable as standard buttons given that there is no hole or shank to sew them onto fabric, so more of a flatback cabochon in reality. I use a lot of this kind of thing in mosaic work and mixed media pieces so they are absolutely fine for my purposes, but worth knowing exactly what they are before purchasing.

They are not sew on as there’s no shank on the back

These are pretty little buttons, but there are no holes in them to sew onto fabric. They are described as sew on, but I cannot see how they can be. I am not returning them though as they can be used for other craft projects, but they will need to be stuck on.
