Selling stamps, needed colour codes for all different sizes of stamps, This colour is deep purple. These are very tiny, they stick well, and even to my fingers.

I code various things, with quarter-inch colored dots being the easiest way to do it. The Avery-style dots that come out of a box on a long, narrow strip of waxy-feel paper are considerably easier to work with, but they are not cheap. These are not so easy to use, but the price can't be beat, and with a little care and practice, these are not all that hard to use.Careful attention will teach the user how to get a dot off the backing without unduly loosening or displacing adjacent dots, which can be a problem. It takes patience, and learning this can require a few wasted dots, but not many if one is careful.I found that once I had deformed the backing just enough to free the edge of a dot, picking it off the backing with sharp-nosed long tweezers, grasping the dot at the edge, was the way to do it. A quarter-inch is not much width, so it is necessary to have as much pressing space as possible to fix the dot onto is location once it has been carried in place with the tweezers.Those box-with-dots dispensers don't require tweezers, but then you'll more than recover the cost of good tweezers with just one set of these dots.Something else I did to keep the dots organized, protected, and on backing dimensions that are manageable was to cut the ten sections (there are 10 colors) of each sheet of dots to make 10 sheet pieces of 110 dots each, and then I cut those 10 pieces in half to make 20 sheet pieces of 55 dots each, 11 rows of five dots apiece. They are vastly easier to handle that way and fit, color by color, into those new almost square snack bags available at grocery stores. The 11 snack bags can be aggregated in turn into a sandwich bag.All in all, this is a good deal.
