To set a pendent up for a new chain

bought these to hold my pendant to my chain, but the ring takes no effort to open up and, just like that, there goes your pendant. Literally, as I take my shirt off, the ring gives out and my pendant is on the floor. Again when I shower, ring gives out and I panick to grab my pendant before it goes through the drain. It's just not worth it if I'm going to be paranoid about losing my pendant when I'm out at the office or at the gym or whatever...Other ring clasps are designed better, either with a spring loaded lever or compression fitting.Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend.
