Hoe u uw lensmaat kunt vinden
De grootte van uw lensdraad wordt ergens op de lensloop gemarkeerd of onder uw lensdop afgedrukt. Dit getal wordt altijd voorafgegaan door een symbool "φ" (diameter). Bijvoorbeeld: φ62 = 62 mm lensdraadgrootte.

More secure than the Sony OEM, but replacing the cover requires slightly more precision. Excellent item overall. I prefer it to the OEM, and the retaining string/strap is a useful plus.

The cap itself is a perfect fit. It makes an excellent replacement for Nikkor lenses of the correct size. Why 3 stars? Well the supplied elastic tether must be attached by getting the end piece through a tiny connecting point hole. It is so small and the process is so tricky, that no more than 3 stars is appropriate. In reality you may discover that this single flaw in design makes it feel like a 0.5 star solution. I certainly did for a while.Despite this, I like the finished result. Once you get it set up it is fine. The elastic loop can be placed either over the lens where it can be a complete nuisance, so I don’t recommend that or slipped over a spa wrist, where it is not quite so distracting. You may find it much easier to attach it to you shoulder bag.The little device supplied with the lens cap is no real help either. Its exact purpose is not explained anywhere.If you lose lens caps easily this will replace the missing cap and offer a decent, if annoying, possible solution. Making the connection hole an extra 2mm wider would fix the very exasperating process of attaching the optional tether.No matter how you look at it you still have the problem of where to put that damn lens cap though.
