These are genuine OEM oil filters. This saves the time and risk of using aftermarket. Typically will be enough for 6-8 months depending on how much you driving.

I like to do my own maintenance on my vehicles. The latest addition is a '17 CX-5 Mazda. Since the Covid, I am sure many haven't been driving as much, and I've about 1500 miles in 6 months (usually that in one month). But since I got the CX-5 Pre-owned, and the dealer didn't exactly do a spot on job of details (wiper blades worn, low fluids, filters dirty, ...) I felt I better change the oil incase it wasn't done prior to sale. And that I got a flyer from dealer that it would be "atleast" $70 to change the oil! Well, these filters matched the recommended part, and I also picked up some local oil (0-20W Pennzoil synth) since it was cheaper. You'd be surprised that two 5-qt containers from wally-mart saved me $10 vs online order. But I wanted OEM filter. Well, I found these are smaller, but do fit. And that the one I replaced was larger in diameter. I had no filter tool to remove it and used large pliers (it should not have been on that tight so glad I was replacing it-this is why I prefer doing my own work). The filters I ordered here, fit my 65mm filter wrench so that was good news. You will need a 8mm hex (large allen or socket version) to remove the oil plug.Good product and items showed up as ordered. Just be aware that this part number is correct, but that the filter diameter might be smaller than what you are replacing (the value filter is made in Mexico. this one is made in Thailand. This one has pre-lubed oil ring). Since I ordered 6 of these, that makes it either till another 30K to order more, or if I change oil at 7500, I should get 45K miles out of these 6 filters.
