This switch is a great value for 2x 10G SFP+ ports and 4x 2.5G RJ45 ports. Keep in mind that you'll need to add in your own SFP+ modules for those ports, but that leaves you with options for whatever media type you want. Fiber SFP+ modules will generally run much cooler than RJ45 (in any hardware), and direct-attach copper is great for short runs to other SFP+ ports. Just keep in mind that fiber cabling can be fragile--get an armored cable if you think you'll need it!

This 2.5Gb Unmanaged Network Switch came simply packaged and included the switch itself, a small DC power adapter and a short instruction pamphlet. The switch is relatively small but feels quite sturdy. Along with the four 2.5G copper ports there are also two 10G SFP+ ports as well, allowing a fast uplink option to other devices using 10G SFP+ Modules (Not included with this switch). Performance on the switch is as expected and I've not run into any issues with throughput on the equipment I've connected to it so far. This switch is an excellent value and works as advertised.

Everything ran very smoothly with the installation. All devices connected as expected. I have a home network that has two different media servers connected, and being able to run everything at 2.5G speeds has been great. Prior, everything just ran at 1G speeds as all of my other switches topped out at 1G. My internet service tops out at 1.2G so I noticed very little uplift there, but it's something. Moving large movie files to and from my various media servers has been sped up significantly. I've yet to use the 10G ports as I don't have anything that will take advantage of that connectivity. The price is great for a switch with these speeds as I've paid more for less in the past.
