I have a steel organizer for my bathroom countertop (I have the same one in my living room on my 'desk' that I use to store all my medications) and was trying to figure out how to store my various hair ties, scrunchies, and headbands. Since these are magnetic and 3" long they work in a similar way to the metal hanging hangers in the pegboard type aisles in pretty much every store, only there is no pegboard required. I can fit 2 giant kitsch microfiber scrunchies on one even. This way I don't have to try to find my satin sleep scrunchies or my hosiery style hair ties all buried and covering each other up. The only other thing that could have worked would have been a mug tree but it would have taken up a lot more counterspace. Also, if you have unopened hair ties still on the cardboard you can just hang the whole cardboard thing right on the hook! The magnets are very strong and the only issue I had putting them together was keeping the pieces apart due to the magnets wanting to clump together along with the hooks - which took me a few tries to put each one together as one of our bulbs was out and the wrong end would want to go into the magnetic base and I had to feel for the grooves to get them in right. The hooks could have been a wee bit longer with a steeper bend at the end and a gel cap type thing to hold things a bit better and be a bit safer if you knock into one. I would NEVER put these on the fridge - at least not the front doors - maybe the side if needed - because you could take your eye out accidentally. Interestingly, despite wanting to clump together in the package or on the counter, once I stuck them to my organizer with enough space apart to hold the hair accessories they haven't moved from their positions. I can see these being super useful for a variety of applications, like command hooks that are magnetic. Totally worth the price compared to similar items of this nature.

We got these for adding to our garage metal cabinets. The size was nice and small which we expected but how well they connect to the cabinet and stay in place was a pleasant surprise for us. We are using for hanging bagged fishing supplies on the sides of the cabinet, we thought some bags of supplies like many salmon flashers would be too heavy to hang but they work great and have not had any slippage.
