All Wera products are of extremely good quality and the cost of these items reflects this quality.The Wheel Impactor was bought, so winter tyres could be easily switched wit alloy rims without damaging the alloys inside surfaces where the bolts are located.This impactor socket has a plastic sheath on the outside and a metal socket on the inside of this sheath. Therefore, once you insert this socket into the hole where your bolt is located, in the alloy wheel, the outside plastic sheathing will make sure, that even though you may need to apply a great force to remove the bolt, you are still not scratching the inner area, from which the bolt will need to be removed.A great product for a decent price from one of the leading German tool companies which is trusted all over the continent.Would highly recommend.

Plastic protective covering, thin wall, impact safe… this is perfect for wheels. My only complaint is that it’s such a precise fit that wheel nuts don’t drop out as easily as a looser fitting socket. The tradeoff is this is way nicer on aluminum lug nuts than my previous looser fitting socket. I should have bought this sooner.
