Instructies voor het aanbrengen van pasta op het systeem:

  • Breng een dunne laag pasta aan op het processoroppervlak en verdeel het gelijkmatig.
  • Draai de warmteafleider een paar keer voorzichtig naar rechts en links tijdens het installeren en druk op de processor om de pasta perfect te verdelen tussen de processor en de onderkant van de warmteafleider.

I recently gave our expensive Delivery Longhi coffee machine a major service after the metal heater pipe sprung a leak internally (I am a former electronics engineer happy working on electrical equipment). Having ordered a new heater and hotplate I needed some thermally conductive paste to apply between he two parts during fitting. I did not want to buy a large tube for this one-time job so opted for this small syringe of paste designed for fitting heatsinks to CPUs. The paste had adequate thermal conductivity but is a little runnier than the general purpose paste. This did the job perfectly but took a few minutes after first power-up for the excess liquid to burn-off and the compound to dry out and set in position before closing up the unit. The machine is now happily brewing coffee again several weeks on and the heat is being nicely transferred through to the hotplate for the jug.This thermal paste is a good value, high performance solution for a small single job which is not just limited to CPUs.

Leider war ich sehr enttäuscht. Entweder war die Paste überaltert oder sie taugt nichts. Das Verteilen auf dem Prozessor war eine einzige Katastrophe. Also wieder entfernt und andere besorgt und benutzt. Nicht zu empfehlen.
