Productbeschrijving

Aanpasbare aansluitkastbehuizing van pvc-kunststof. 240 mm lang x 190 mm breed x 90 mm diep (binnenmaat). Kunststof schroeven (roest niet). Om een scharnier te maken, kunnen aan één kant twee schroeven op zijn plaats worden gelaten. Waterdicht tot IP56. Gladde zijkanten – kunnen voor kabelinvoer worden geboord. Zorg ervoor dat je kabelwartels van de juiste maat gebruikt die in het gat en je kabel passen (kabelwartels apart verkrijgbaar).

Bought this to serve as a outdoor enclosure / junction box for a mains electricity based job.The box is well made and very robust with lots of built in ribbing / struts. It drills fairly easily with metal drill bits (rather than wood bits). I can't speak regarding it's longevity in keeping the weather out but so far so good with the lid having a weather proof / rubber seal built into it.I personally added some clear sealant around the edges of the outside rim just to make sure and here in Northern Ireland it rains pretty much constantly including last night when we had a serious amount of rain with a weather warning so if it's keep that amount of rain out then I am happy.For the money paid I believe I got good value for money and it's a excellent enclosure for whatever project you happen to need it for. I can recommend it.
