This was just what I needed to update an old phone line. It is a unique item, but was a great solution for my odd problem I did not know they even existed. It popped up doing an Amazon search and was the perfect solution to my problem. It even comes with the small screw driver needed, and at a reasonable price. It is well made too. Quite solid adapter. The green screw section unplugs fro the black connector body, which for me was not a needed feature, and only increased the length. This caused me some concern, but I was able to fit it into the wall box, even with the increased length. I replaced a hard wired wall plate with a multiple outlet type plugin wall plate that allowed me to route Ethernet cable connections through the same box.
