I ordered two of these embroidery hoops in different sizes about six months ago and now ordered another one of a bigger size, and they are by far the best I’ve used. Like all wooden hoops, they can warp slightly over time, but I’ve already completed three or four pieces and the shape is still holding up beautifully. With other round hoops I’ve tried, the tension would gradually weaken as they lost their shape — but not with these.One small tip: I recommend marking the top of both the inner and outer rings right away as the shape isn’t a perfect circle — it’s more of a rounded square — so it’s important to always insert the fabric the same way. I learned this after the first use: if you rotate it differently, you might get uneven tension on one side. But if you consistently align it the same way, it holds fabric perfectly every time.

Good quality but totally misleading sizing. The 12” square I ordered was much smaller inside measurement (which is what matters) I tried to use the option to get a replacement for the next size up but Amazon took me straight to return/refund which means, if I want free postage again, I have to wait until I need more items to order with it to meet the money amount required. This will delay my purchase & very frustrating that the buyer has not listed accurate sizing & Amazon did not allow a replacement.

I found that they are of very good quality, hold the fabric well, and have sufficient fabric tension.
