If you are looking for a versatile set of kayak paddles that are well made (all metal connections), adjustable and not too heavy, this is a good pick.While I'm saying they are not too heavy, they are still on the heavier side of a paddle made of aluminum. They would not compare well with carbon fiber for example, but this it not in the same category at all.For an aluminum construction, they are really well made.I also had an issue with the first delivery which was missing a center piece, and I can attest that the seller was quick to respond and resolved my issue promptly. To the support is there if you ever need it.The paddles can be adjusted to be parallel or at an angle from one another for more advance kayak paddlers.My main use for them will be a set of paddle to give the kids who are sitting on a paddle board. I find a kayak paddle works a lot better for them than a long stand up paddle when they sit so low in relation to the water.As an added bonus, the inside of the tubes are filled with foam, so the paddle float they get dropped in the water: ideal for kids!Solid construction, good price point, this is a great value!I highly recommend those.

Such a great upgrade from the paddle that came with the kayak I own. Very solid , great length and size for my hand grip. I really love how you can add to the length a good 12 inches if you want. I will say something about the weight.... Its a little bit on the heavy side, I think. Its gonna take my arms a little getting used to. Im thinking of it like a workout, you lift heavy weight and you get stonger.
