Positief:- Stevig en moeilijk te kraken door dieven.- Goede frame bevestiging.- Sleutels kunnen nabesteld worden.Negatief:- IJzeren strips voor frame bevestiging zijn veel te lang en kunnen alleen met een speciale ijzertang afgeknipt worden. Deze ijzeren strips zorgen er echter niet voor dat de frame bevestiging op zijn plaats blijft zitten. De bevestiging gaat alle kanten op waardoor de lak van het frame beschadigd wordt.Ik heb dan ook eenvoudige en goedkope klittenband strips gekocht waarmee de frame bevestiging prima op zijn plaats blijft zitten.Waarom zorgt ABUS niet voor goede strips om de frame bevestiging vast te maken?

Product omschrijving niet in overeenstemming met opgave producent. 6500/110 is niet monteerbaar op de flessenhouder voorziening.

Le produit semble de bonne qualité, mais son utilisation est peu pratique. La longueur de l'antivol, en dépit de ses 110 cm, n'est pas optimisée en raison de sa conception en 6 segments. Ainsi, il était tout juste suffisant pour attacher la roue avant au cadre de mon vélo électrique. Pour cette raison, j'ai préféré retourner l'article et opter pour un antivol en U de 310 mm, également de chez Abus, mais plus maniable.La livraison du produit a été très rapide, comme annoncé. Cependant, les frais de retour étaient plus élevés que ce qui m'avait été stipulé. De plus, le titre du produit sur Amazon est incorrect : "Câble antivol avec bobine de clé Racer série 6 Noir 180 cm Diamètre 15 mm". Il devrait plutôt être intitulé "Abus antivol Bordo 6500K Granit XPlus Big". J'aurais peut-être dû utiliser cette erreur pour retourner l'article sans frais !

This is my third bordo lock. I initially bought them to replace the 10+lb kryptonite chain I've been carrying around my waist for 20ish years. I really like the design and the portability and feel like this is a good replacement for the huge chain. When I've had them before, I've carried them in a back pocket, and I lost one wiping out in the snow and the other while crossing some very rough ground at speed. They simply fell out of my pocket.This one is a different breed, much more robust and heavier than the others, and I don't think I could comfortably carry it in a pocket. Which is a good thing, considering I've lost two that way.Which brings me to the frame mounting bracket. You can mount it to your frame using water bottle mounts. There's three holes so it can be mounted higher or lower, which is nice, or there's some strap type thing if you don't have water bottle mounts.I used the water bottle mounts on my frame, so can't speak to the step things.My beef is with the double sidled spring clip thing used to hold the lock in the holder. It's a nifty little mechanism, but it seems to pop open if you hit something like an unseen pothole hard enough. (It's winter here, invisible potholes are a thing.)I've dumped my lock once, so bought a strap to keep stuff in place, but I've still found it popped open.So probably a really tough lock, but a simplified frame mounting bracket would be better.

Es muy robusto y seguro, para zonas de alto riesgo. Lo más probable es que este candado plegable sea mucho más difícil de romper que el sitio al que lo ancles. La única pega es que no es fácil de acoplar a las bicicletas eléctricas y es bastante pesado. El plegado es muy bueno y no es voluminoso en exceso, se guarda en una funda; pero pesa bastante.

This lock fits right on one of my water bottle mounts on my bike. This locks flexibility allows me to easily lock my bike at bike racks, on trees, street signs, and even when needed, to a friends bike if there is only one bike rack spot available. Heavy duty and secure feeling. I love this thing! Nice upgrade from a U lock, worth the extra cost in my opinion. I sometimes can lock through my rear wheel, and bike frame when locking to a fixed structure. That's a nice perk.
