ABUS Bordo 6000K
Focus op veiligheid, hantering en flexibiliteit
Zes 5 mm dikke opvouwbare stalen staven, verbonden door speciale klinknagels, in te klappen als een duimstok – zo ziet het eruit als het vouwslot Bordo 6000 K. Het idee is niet nieuw, de sloten van de Bordo-familie van ABUS zijn inmiddels echte klassiekers, hun functionaliteit is toch onovertroffen. Dit is een variant die door een sleutel kan worden geopend. Daarop kan ook de K voor "Key" in de productnaam sluiten.
Hoge bescherming
Gemaakt van speciaal gehard staal bieden de staven en de behuizing een hoge weerstand. Tegelijkertijd zorgt de hoogwaardige ABUS XPlus cilinder voor bijzonder hoge bescherming, zoals voor picking.
Made in Germany
Een zachte en tegelijkertijd resistente bescherming tegen krassen op het wiel is door de ommanteling gewaarborgd. Bovendien maakt dit het slot gripvast. De kwaliteit "Made in Germany" zorgt voor internationale onderscheidingen.

I used to use a u-lock to lock my bike but found it very restrictive on what I can lock my bike to. This folding lock is the perfect solution. It’s very strong and flexible allowing for more locking options. It’s a lot more secure than using a chain or cable while providing similar flexibility. At the bike store they had a folding lock on display that someone tried to drill and cut it with bolt cutters without success. They were able to cut it with a grinder but they said it took several minutes and made a lot of noise, which is a deterrent for the average bike thief who just wants to quickly and quietly cut a lock and run away with the bike. They also showed a u-lock that they were also able to cut with a grinder so I feel very confident that this folding lock provides as much protection as a u-lock. I use it to protect my F2 $1,200 Trek bike. I’m so confident and satisfied with this lock that I’m buying another one to protect my wife’s $850 7D bike.

Produit de qualité, compact qui s’intègre parfaitement sur le cadre. Le système d’attache offre 2 types de montage, un sur les fixations du bidon, l’autre via un système ingénieux de sangle. J’appréhendais la largeur du support, (cadenas de longueur 120cm) qui aurait pu me gêner en pédalant. Mais après les premiers tours de roue, je n’ai ressenti aucune gêne. Les barres de l’antivol ont un revêtement qui empêche ( je suppose) les coups sur le cadre ou les jantes. Bien sûr le poids (1,5kg soit une bouteille d’eau) peut paraître lourd, mais je ne crois pas que ça existe un cadenas à la fois solide et léger.
