Die Waage gibt genaue Angaben über das Gewicht beginnend von 0,3 Gramm bis maximal 3 Kilogramm. Ist das Gewicht über 3 Kilogramm wird eine Fehlermeldung angezeigt, unter 0,3 Gramm wird nicht gemessen. Die Waage lässt sich in Gramm in Unzen Milliliter ohne Probleme einstellen. Die Waage wird mit zwei normalen Batterien betrieben, die beiliegen, und das schöne an dieser Waage, man kann diese Waage vollständig ausschalten. Ein Silikonaufsatzlage ist ebenfalls mit dabei, muss man aber nicht benutzen. Die Gebrauchsanweisung ist mehrsprachig auch auf deutsch.

The first thing I like about this scale is its easy to read numbers with its constant backlit LCD display. With my last two scales with LCD displays I sometimes had to turn on additional lights just to read them. Not with this one which is very easy to read with its backlight.This is not a portable scale and it has the largest silicone mat of any of my recent scales. The manual is decent size and glossy, with only the first 3 pages in English, but those 3 pages supply a lot of information on the scale. They also supply the 3 AAA batteries which is a nice touch. It says it has an auto-tare feature in the listing but unfortunately, it does not.My postal scale recently started giving me inaccurate results, so instead of buying an expensive calibration weight to fix it, I thought I might use one of my coffee scales to measure the weight of my packages instead, since one of my scales accepted up to 2000g (a little over 4 lbs) and two others including this one accepted weights up to 3000g (a little over 6 lbs). Especially since this scale has a fairly large weighing surface I thought it might work. It did, but whereas all my other scales including the postal one measured pounds as a decimal number, this one separates pounds and ounces. So where my other scales showed my package as weighing 1.84 pounds, this scale showed it as what I thought was 1.135 pounds, so I initially thought this scale was way off, but in fact, it was right on the money at 1 pound 13.5 ounces. I don't know why only this scale measures pounds that way but I prefer it.In short, even though this scale under a different name has failed over time for some people (in particular the tare function) for me so far it's right on the money, very accurate, and the tare function is working just fine. I can find nothing wrong with this scale and it's currently my favorite scale for coffee and postal uses.

I have never personally needed to weigh or time coffee, I didn't know that was a thing, but this is a really useful little gadget to have in your kitchen.Unusually for a kitchen scale - they usually measure in gram increments only - this is more sensitive, and measures to 0.1g. There are also options to weigh in ml (making some assumptions about density, I take it!), oz, and lbs and Oz. There is a handy heat-proof silicone mat which sits on the pan of the scale, this is easy to remove for cleaning and prevents marking your scales in use.On the right hand side of the display is a stopwatch (increments of seconds) feature, which is actually really useful and has put the kitchen timer out of a job.The device is powered by two AAA batteries, a couple are included in the packaging. The display is backlit so easy to read in lowlight conditions, although presumably this will have a slight effect on battery life. The instructions indicate that the device will turn itself automatically after three minutes of non-use, I have not found this to be the case but this may be due to vibrations from me/the dog moving around in the room, I know that our precision scales in the science lab at school are affected by this.So far as I can tell they seem accurate, and I am pleased with them.
