It will obviously vary on factors like how bright you like your screen and what kind of tasks you are performing. I **never** get the advertised battery life of my laptops. My main laptop is a Lenovo gaming laptop that is supposed to get at least 4 hours doing light duty work, and I'm lucky if I get two hours. With this laptop, I easily get 4 hours with the screen set to a relatively bright level, with battery to spare. I always get battery anxiety based on basically every other laptop I've ever owned, so it was an outlier for me to have more than two hours of battery life. Your mileage will definitely vary.Nitpicks / Hit or Miss* 2666 MHz DDR4 Memory (as opposed to DDR5, which is supported by the CPU), but at least it's already maxed out with a 16GB Dimm. The only upgrade you can make with respect to RAM is for name brand, faster RAM* Not everyone will like the feel or layout of the keyboard, but you can definitely do worse.* Has two physical buttons under touchpad for left/right click* I'm not a touchpad guy (I prefer a mouse or trackball), so it's hard for me to properly judge it. It seems fine for the price though.* Upgradeable NVME SSD and Wifi card.* No dimple on the microSD port makes it hard to insert and eject the card* Keyboard pad has some flex, but it's an entry level laptop, so it's to be expected* AC Wifi (can be end user upgraded to a Wifi 6 card, purchased separately.. or you can use a dongle)* Can run linux, but some hardware (like the audio) might not be supported on all distros.* Keyboard layout may not be to everyone's tastes - some of the special keys I use a lot require hitting the Fn key.* Easy to upgrade. I would say the component that would be benefit the most from an upgrade is the NVME SSD. You'll get a noticeable speed boost just by upgrading to a name brand SSD. Second most benefit is the wifi card.* If you don't trust the preinstalled OEM Win 11 Pro, you can download a Windows 11 installer from Microsoft and do a clean install from a USB key. The drivers are available from the support forum at minipcunion dot com (the domain on the bottom of the laptop).* The webcam is not great. It is OK in good light though. I've definitely seen worse, but if video call image quality, you'll have to spend some money on an external webcam.* The microphone, like the webcam isn't great, but fine in a pinch.* Status LEDs (power and charging) are on the side of the unit, would have very much preferred them to be on the top or front, especially the power LED.Reasons Not To Buy- Keyboard is not backlit- Outside of retro gaming, it's bad for modern AAA gaming- Not great for heavy CPU/GPU loads - so AI development, video editing, etc. are not going to be great on this laptop- Made by a little known Chinese brand, so some people might have some security concerns with the pre-installed OS.- It's a no-name brand, you won't get the same level of support as even a 3rd tier vendor like Acer.- The USB-C charging port is for power only. The USB-C data port does not support power in or video output.- Off brand parts that I've never heard of - "Kinsotin" RAM, CYX NVME SSD, FnLink Wifi Card. For the SSD in particular, the life span may be shorter than a name brand SSD.Good Value?If you don't need a "new" laptop, you can find off-lease corporate refurbs in the same price range that might perform a little better than this laptop in terms of CPU performance, but the interior components like the battery and storage may have an unpredictable life span since they are second hand.Having said that, it's very usable for a young student/retiree, second computer, media consumption, etc. For the light productivity tasks I'm using it for, it's more than adequate, and the battery lasts longer than my more faster gaming laptop for those tasks.

Il rapporto qualità-prezzo di questo laptop è veramente eccezionale.Mai vista una cosa del genere in tanti anni di esperienza nel mondo dei computer.Partiamo dalla costruzione: eccellente, in alluminio, non dà luogo a fastidiosi scricchiolii, davvero nulla, il silenzio assoluto, l'idea è davvero di trovarsi di fronte ad un prodotto di qualità superiore.Display: grande, non luminosissimo ma comunque più che sufficiente per l'utilizzo in casa almeno, e con una finitura opaca antiriflesso stupenda, che io personalmente adoro alla follia.Comfort di utilizzo: eccezionale.Il processore non ha bisogno di presentazioni, io in particolare cercavo un laptop silenzioso, e che mi facesse dimenticare il precedente, che ogni due per tre partiva con la sua ventola fastidiosa e rumorosissima.Beh, smanettando un pò con le combinazioni di risparmio energia (ci sono su youtube vari video in merito), e configurando il processore all'80% del suo utilizzo (impostazione che rimane più che ottima per l'utilizzo classico da lavoro), mi ritrovo praticamente con un portatile fanless, un vero sogno.Anche l'audio si sente molto bene, mi chiedo solo perchè windows 11 non preveda di default un equalizzatore, e molti sottovalutino questo fattore di vitale importanza per i contenuti multimediali.Scaricando un'utility ad hoc si passa realmente dal giorno alla notte, e l'esperienza di utilizzo audio ne beneficia in maniera sorprendente.Passando all'autonomia, beh, per ora è nuovo, ma con le combinazioni da me impostate mi dà dalle 6 alle 7 ore di autonomia, un risultato davvero incredibile.La tastiera è comoda, si scrive molto bene, certo non come in un 13-14 pollici senza tastierino numerico, che permette di distanziare maggiormente i tasti ed avere un feeling migliore, soprattutto per chi ha dei ditoni come me :).Non presenta flessioni del telaio, e dà un'ottima sensazioni, anche a chi ama scrivere tanto, e non riesce proprio ad abituarsi alle tastiere virtuali dei telefoni.Il layout, come ben evidenziato dalla scheda prodotto, è internazionale, chi come me ormai conosce la tastiera a memoria non avrà alcun problema, in ogni caso vengono fornite le ormai consuete copritastiere in silicone che così male non sembrano davvero.Il touchpad funziona bene, e non fa che confermare il mio parere eccezionale su questo prodotto.Non posso giudicare le prestazioni da gaming perchè non l'ho mai utilizzato sotto questo punto di vista, nè è mai stato uno dei punti che mi abbia fatto scegliere per questo prodotto.Concludo dicendo che si tratta senza dubbio di uno dei miei migliori acquisti mai effettuati qui.Se si dimostrerà anche affidabile, credo che sarà un mio compagno per molti dei miei prossimi anni.Lo consiglio davvero a chiunque.
