Acer Projector Predator GM712 DLP 4K

Bought this projector to be used as an external display for PC (gaming) and watching movies via streaming services. The hardware part is really good. In a bright mode, it becomes a bit noisy, but this is expected because it's a lamp projector.The default firmware is not really usable. The app market is very limited and proposes Android-tablet oriented apps with a UI not suitable for controlling from a button-based remote control. Tried to download Netflix; unfortunately, it's not comfortable to use at all.The sound speaker is not perfect. It's OK for presentations, but it's too weak and wheezy for watching movies, etc. An external sound speaker is required.But when you use it as an external monitor, then its strong sides take place. For example, I bought a Fire TV stick and accompanied it with the projector; it has become a real home media center. Also, playing PC games in Gaming mode brings a lot of new experiences if you haven't played games on big screens before.Overall, I'm more than happy with this projector. As I'm using it accompanying it with the Fire TV stick, I haven't used the original Android firmware with apps at all. The Gaming mode is also good if someone wants to use it for PC or console gaming. Considering that this is a lamp projector, this can become a really good choice for its money if you don't want to spend 3k on a laser projector.

Der Beamer ist super. Wird bei uns täglich verwendet. Die Auflösung ist toll auch bei Tag kann man ihn verwenden. Er ist leise und auch das einrichten war super easy.

Gutes Gerät, guter Preis! Handhabung etwas schwieriger, aber alles machbar mit etwas Zeitaufwand. Kleiner Tipp, HDMI Wechsel mit 5 Sekundendruck auf die Menütaste der FB ermöglicht den schnellen Wechsel der HDMI Port's Alles in Allem super Teil, jedoch im HDR 4K Modus sehr helles Bild, muss eingestellt werden.
