Really impressed with this Acer USB-C SD Card Reader. The quality is top-notch, made from strong and durable material that feels built to last. It doesn’t feel flimsy like some cheaper alternatives out there.I connected it to my Mac Mini M4 and transferred my digital files from an SD card in no time, super quick and no lag at all. It also worked flawlessly with my iPhone 15 Pro Max and iPad Air M2. Summary with Spoilers:This is a compact SD card reader that strikes a good balance between size and utility. The long cable helps to relieve stress from your ports and also allows you to connect to other ports on your device without interfering. There are more compact card readers, faster ones, and ones with more ports/utility as well but those are DOUBLE to TRIPLE in price. If all you're looking for is a card reader that works properly with no extra unnecessary features that only serve to raise the price, then this his reader is amazing value given that its also from a known and trusted brand in electronics.Pros:Form factor:The whole reader is relatively compact. The case is 2 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide. You can definitely find smaller readers but I think this one is a good middle ground where its not too small to where it's going to get lost in your bag or hard to find but its also not too big to where you only want to use at your desk. I can definitely see myself taking it out and about and plugging into my iPad and Phone on the go.Build:The case is aluminum or some kind of metal. It feels sturdy and I don't see it getting "crushed" or damaged if you stuff it in a full camera bag. The cable is the perfect amount of stiff. It feels sturdy but is still malleable and bends easily. The joints seem reinforced so I don't have any worries about their longevity which is where most cables fail over time. I will update if something proves me wrong.The cable is a lot longer than it seems in the photos. For me, this works to my benefit because I connect my SD card into an iPad and the longer cable results in less stress on the USB-C port compared to those readers that plug into the port and just float while leaving all the weight on the USB-C port.Use:The logo actually makes it easy to know which way to insert your card. There are so many times that I forget which direction cards go and it saves a second that will add up over time.Speed:Transfer speeds are quick. I was able to transfer a 2.6 GB video file to my desktop in 20-30 seconds so speed is definitely not something to worry about if you do photo or video. The speed I was able to get was 90 MB/s.Cons:For now, the only "negative" that I see is that it is very hard to tell when an sd card is inserted properly. There is no "click" when you insert a card and the slot feels a bit "loose"; there isn't too much friction holding onto the card but it's not too bad either. If you hold it upside down, the card will not fall out even if you shake it hard. This could be a positive for you since it's less effort to insert/remove.

Hab mir diesen Card reader bestellt da mein voriger beim einstecken der SD-Karte immer den Schreibschutz an der Karte hochgedrückt hat, das ist bei diesem anders da er den Schreibschutz nicht abfragt dieses könnte ein nachteil sein wenn man die Funktion braucht.Der Reader ist schön klein und ist einfach mitzunehmen, USB-C Stecker und Gehäuse sind aus Alu und haben eine schöne Optic, der Card reader soll bis zu 104Mbit können das konnte ich aus mangel an passenden Karten nicht testen meine Karten die ich da habe (Samsung EVO) und einige kleinere SD-Karten gingen aber Problemlos.Ich kann den Cardreader entfehlen und der Preis ist Angemessen.

Zum Testen habe ich mir den Acer Card Reader bestellt.Er ist klein, handlich und kann so überall mit genommen werden. Einfach (dank Plug and Play) nur anklemmen und los legen. Hat wunderbar funktioniert.Kleiner Tipp! Wer keinen USB C Anschluß am PC hat, sollte sich einen passenden Adapter mit bestellen.Ich kann ihn uneingeschränkt empfehlen und gebe daher volle 5 Stene!
