Acoustic rock guitare: Guitar Chord Songbook

I bought this for my partner who has just picked up the acoustic guitar again. It is very good as it has quite easy songs at the beginning and progressively gets more difficult.

Il libro è con copertina flessibile, le canzoni hanno le lyrics e gli accordi anglosassoni sopra a ogni frase. Il grosso problema di questo libro è che ogni canzone è scritta in più pagine e si deve voltare pagina mentre si suona, in più il libro lo devi piegare molto perché stia aperto su una pagina e non si richiuda. Le due stelle sono dovute a questi due problemi. C'è anche da dire che per il prezzo non si può pretendere troppo, però dover sfogliare mentre suoni è veramente odioso.

Bonne compilation condensée de ces artistes intemporels, les open-tunings et les accords indiqués sont corrects, il ne reste que les rythmes et les doigtés picking main droite (pour les droitiers) à trouver par vous même et ce n'est pas rien!

At first I was sceptical, such a lot ( 80 Songs ) for so little money.But I am really glad I bought this book, it is very very easy to read and the songs are simply displayed.After each song title, the songs measure, and a picture diagram of all the cords in the song are displayed, then it's just the words with the cord names above them, and the song flows like it does in the recording.I like this, as I am novice guitar player and find some sheet music difficult to follow, bridges, codas etc...I'm easily lost, and have to revert to the original recording to find the flow.Some really great classic songs packed into such a small package, fits nicely into the guitar bag to boot.Enjoyneil

Good song selection. I posted a couple song examples to show the format. A brief melody line, the chord diagrams, and lyrics with chord changes. Pretty straight forward. I also bought the folk and classic rock books and they are structured the same way. Enjoying all three and recommend them for folks. You need to know the songs before playing-it would be, in my opinion, difficult to learn a song without having heard it-but I think that’s fairly standard for chord books.
