I am still fairly new to wearing glasses and I have made a few expensive mistakes. I bought glasses to use during the summer fitted with “Transition Lenses”. The Optician never told me that Transition Lenses do not work behind a car windscreen, but he did offer to supply me with prescription sunglasses at an additional cost. I did not buy the sunglasses but I bought some fitovers which are ok in the car but do look a bit strange.This year I thought about prescription sunglasses again, but I had a look on Amazon first to see if there were some better looking fitovers. I found these “Active Sol” Aviator Sunglasses and they looked a lot better than my existing fitovers.The “Active Sol” fitovers are well made and they look like large sunglasses. The quality of vison through the lenses is very good and they are comfortable to wear. I have even worn them outside of the car as I now have an expensive pair of bi-focal glasses.I consider the “Active Sol” fitovers to be a good buy. They do not look as smart as a good pair of prescription sunglasses, but the difference in cost is amazing.A practical case would be a good add-on.

I chose these sunglasses (brown colour) as they looked so good in terms of style and design. Once they arrived, I have to say I found them to be even better than I anticipated, well made and really good quality. They fit perfectly over my glasses and look great. The top rim is not too deep, as some other over-fit glasses can be. The lenses are really good, although they have not been fully tested yet as the usual British summer has brought more rain than sun so far! I have no hesitation in recommending these glasses.

Have now bought two pairs. Good fit. Nice and light. Very pleased with them. 4 stars because the nice box is a waste and a storage bag would be better.

Die Überziehsonnenbrille in Braun passt perfekt. Wenn man genauer hinsieht, sieht man die Gleitsichtbrille etwas, was mich aber nicht stört. Super Lösung, um nicht viel Geld in eine Sonnenbrille mit Gleitsichtgläsern zu investieren.
