I have these being driven by the Adafruit 2W audio FX board and it works really well. I originally had the audio level too high, and they sounded bad but then I adjusted them and it's far better now.

Using this in my RPi3 gaming console. Very low profile which is what I wanted for my project. Connected to Adafruit Stereo 20W Class D Audio Amplifier - MAX9744. At first I was horrified because the sound was awful. Only certain sounds were coming through and past half volume the audio was crumbly and distorted. Through some experimention I realized that the power source I was feeding into my amplifier was not providing enough juice (I have several other peripherals requiring amperage). Upon increasing the voltage to 12v and 2.2a the sound was awesome! For little speakers they can definitely produce excellent results. Just make sure to have sufficient power if you are feeding additional components.

These little speakers were purchased and used in a small retropie gaming thingy I built and powered using a DROK 3W amp. I used the Raspberry Pi 3.5mm jack as the amp input. They are a little larger than I expected, but the sound quality is good. Also the wiring is longer than what is shown, I had to remove quite a bit for my project.

My wife wanted an inexpensive computer to use for recipes and wanted it to have sound. I opted for a Raspberry Pi and these speakers were exactly what I needed to complete the project. The sound quality is similar to built-in laptop speakers. They are loud enough to be heard from across the room. Definitely worth $13!

Didn't work at all. Then suddenly it cracked, popped, and worked for 3 seconds, then stopped forever. Embarrassing.
