Zum diesem Antennen Splitter hier muss ich nichts mehr schreiben, dass haben meine "Vorschreiber" bereits alles zu Papier gebracht. Nur noch einmal so viel, er funktioniert auf Anhieb und zwar richtig gut!Von Anfang an. Nach dem Einbau des Antennen-Splitters war ich zuerst enttäuscht, irgendwie habe ich mir doch mehr Radio erhofft. Der FM-Empfang war nicht mehr wie gewohnt, das DAB-Signal war mal da und dann auch wieder weg und die DAB-Senderauswahl war mehr als kläglich und das Hören derer fast unmöglich. Das konnte doch nach den vielen positiven Rezessionen nicht sein. Lange Rede kurzer... Ich habe meine ca. 40 cm passive Stabantenne durch eine ca. 24 cm Lange ersetzt und dadurch war alles so, wie man es sich wünscht. Starkes DAB-Signal, maximale DAB-Senderauswahl und klasse FM-Empfang.

In merito alla recensione precedente negativa posso confermare che la ricezione DAB é scarsa in zona Bologna con un autoradio Sony.La radio fa lo switch automatico in FM quando perde il segnale DAB.Tuttavia non so se la scarsa sensibilitá é da imputare a questo accessorio o alla radio o semplicemente al campo DAB che é scarso. Leggendo sui forum viene detto che anche in zona cittadina dove la copertura c'é le radio di serie delle automobili che ricevono il segnale DAB hanno comunque problemi di ricezione.Nel classico FM nessun problema con questo accessorio.Ho utilizzato questo accessorio per collegare la radio Sony DAB a una antenna motorizzata (retrattile, va su e giu) della mia MAZDA RX7 FC Cabriolet del 1992.Non potendo dare un giudizio obiettivo e "sicuro" do 3 stelle.

This doesn't do what it says on the tin. First I'll explain I'm an electronics engineer and I spent over twenty years working in Radio., and I bought this because it states that its an aerial amplifier and splitter that provides an amplified signal for the DAB receiver split off from the regular AM/FM aerial. Its powered by the voltage delivered from the DAB receiver though the aerial connection designed to power such an amp. It looks just the job and small enough to fit in the dashboard.I already have the stick-on-the window aerial I'd been using that came with the DAB receiver while I waited for this to come, but it drops signals out of town which is why I wanted to use a splitter. I can't use a mag mount because my car is aluminium bodied.As soon as I installed this, it was clear that something was wrong, my DAB radio received less stations, and the FM radio wasn't getting a good signal either - in fact I had a better signal from the local FM station when I unplugged this from the FM radio, even before plugging the car aerial back in. When I tried it out of town, it didn't just drop out, it had no DAB service at all and the FM radio also lost coverage in places where I usually enjoy a good signal.I contacted TradeFox and asked to return it for a refund (that's an entitlement under the Distance Selling Regs). TradeFox sent me a DHL return label which I printed and stuck on the package, and arranged for it to go back. When DHL came to collect it, they informed me that the label was only valid in Germany, not in the UK or for international returns.The only way to send it back for a refund, is to pay for shipping - which costs more than it cost me in the first place. Despite contacting TradeFox by email several more times, it appears that they have no understanding of the concept of customer service and have simply resent the label and the (in German) email instructions over again.Its been a very disappointing experience with both the product and the supplier, and I cannot recommend either one.I will be avoiding further dealings with TradeFox.Since its clear I wont get my money back, I decided to open up the product and take a look at the circuit. It consists of some basic capacitors and inductors for filtering, and just one active component (an RF transistor)! I'll re-use the connectors for other projects but otherwise this is just junk.The pictures show where it has to fit, the return label from TradeFox (the seller) and the circuit board hidden under the heat-shrink tubing and silicon rubber it was coated with.I hope this review helps other buyers with their purchasing decision. I will replace this with a Kinetic DAA-7001 DAB aerial converter, which is physically bigger and needs a separate supply.
