I decided to try fixing it with just the provided adhesive and see if it would hold before drilling holes in the walls, and I'm really surprised—it's been holding up for several months now, and my kids and husband are not at all gentle when they put away their toothbrushes. The only thing is, the small piece of white wood at the bottom of the holder is difficult to clean, and toothbrush stains remain on it. However, aside from that, I'm very satisfied with this product.
