I'm using these thermal pads to fix a design flaw with the Simplecom tool-free NVME enclosure; these work well for bridging the NVME's controller to the enclosure's metal housing. I used to get blue-screens or sudden restarts before, but now that the NVME controller doesn't overheat, the drive and enclosure works as intended.About one month later, I opened the enclosure to inspect the thermal pad, it's still floppy and stretchy, though it has left some oily substance behind, my drive and enclosure still work. Based on my experience and other reviews, I would recommend these for relatively low heat applications, such as for use with NVME drives.
