I teach middle school, and these cards are great for helping us select our daily affirmation. I like to do a few moments of mindfulness with my students each day...just a few mindful breaths and an affirmation...and I think these short phrases make great mental focal points for the kids. They are good for all ages, and the "4+" age limit is pretty arbitrary. These can be used by adults with children as soon as they can understand language, and even before. You really can't just hand these to a kid and expect them to get all mindful. These are best used as cards you hold in your hand, and are not really sized for display.

As a pediatric therapist I employ LOTS of different methods to engage young people. Affirmations have been proven to be ineffective on their own if the person saying them does not believe what they are saying. Makes sense, right? I use these cards as a method of accessing the kid's beliefs about self as well as their family culture and variety of emotional expression.I like them for those reasons. They are a little flimsier than the cards that I have from other companies for sentence completion and stuff like that. Perhaps these aren't meant to be used in a "commercial" setting...?I think they will last a bit...but I am guessing they will get bent before long.

I bought these for my kids so that they can read nice empowering messages throughout the day. These cards are very nice and have nice quotes. Would highly recommend.

I really love these messages and think they are great for anyone and I love them for my kids too.It's a small box of 24 cards. The cards are shiny and durable.To me, the biggest draw is the art. I love the art. The colors are muted pastels. There are different themes with unique art on each card. There's a butterfly theme, a vehicles theme, llamas, rockets, hot air balloons, all unique and all lovely.
