Niggles out of the way first:Getting the front legs lined up is fiddly and you have to do this to assemble, not in instructions.The on/off switch on the body is not annotated so you have no idea which way to go despite instructions sheet point 1Remember the 3 x AAA batteries for the remote and a decent screwdriver is better than the one provided. The first battery is hard to fit in the bottom, and you need a flat screwdriver or similar to remove it.Once you are sorted, this Surplex Remote Control Dinosaur is good fun. It is easily controlled, walks at a good pace, went from carpet to another surface easily and makes noises along the way. The softer pads on the hind legs gives it grip on smoother surfaces. I would think you could take this for a short walk and have people staring. To turn, just go forwards/backwards until it is in the desired direction, or just backwards and it will turn a left circle. It feels sturdy, the plastic is hard, the mouth moving and tail waggling are all part of the charm. Younger children and adults will love this toy. Priced at £20.39 at the time of this review, not bad for speedy Dinosaur

Dinosaurio por control remoto que tengo la certeza que enamorará a cualquier niño, llevando su imaginación directamente a la era jurásica. Se trata de un juguete robótico que simula un velociraptor y que tiene un caminar muy parecido a estos reptiles prehistóricos, tal y como estamos acostumbrados a ver en las películas.Con el control remoto los niños pueden dirigir el dinosaurio hacia adelante atrás o hacer giros. La idea es muy buena, pero tengo que decir que la realidad es que no funciona muy bien. No sé si se trata de un fallo de mi juguete, pero yo no consigo hacer un control preciso del dinosaurio. Para mi esto es el único pero que tiene el modelo.El juguete está fabricado con materiales donde predomina el plástico con detalles como los ojos o los dientes que le dan un toque de de realismo.El dinosaurio viene con una batería recargable y un cable de carga USB, para poder ir recargándolo todas las veces que queramos, sin tener que hacer uso de pilas, lo que supondría un sobrecoste. Esto es algo que agradezco muchísimo.Este regalo me parece ideal para regalar a cualquier persona que tenga niños, ya que será un acierto seguro, porque no conozco ningún niño que no ame los dinosaurios y, si encima se mueve, hace ruido y tiene luces, apuesta segura.

I selected this for my nieces and nephews to play with when visiting. As it turns out, it's a big hit even without the controller! My niece decided it was a nice dinosaur and wouldn't bite anyone, then proceeded to chase me around with it, trying to bite me with the dinosaur's teeth. The kids also liked the wheels on the bottoms, which make it much more playable.The quality is good. The design and look are really nice and kid approved and the remote control function is cool and works well (even if largely ignored this round).
