Bought this for use after taking off an air cast, for extra support as my muscles and tendons continued to heal. I like this brace because it doesn't trap heat, and once put on it does provide good stable support. It is quite involved to put on and my foot did continue to swell around the brace, but if you're really past your injury and need extra support to play a sport or walk long distances this is great. I see myself getting many years of use out of it. I recommend this one over others because the laces are elastic and come across the foot with one velcro fixture, instead of trying to lace it up and get the right tension yourself like others, this one conforms to your foot on it's own. Nicely made, good quality materials and you have the ability to remove the plastic supports as your foot and ankle injury improve. Would buy again.

I fell and fractured my distal fibula. Lucky that it was a stable fracture. A CAM boot was ordered . The boot is, of course, very secure but also very cumbersome. I needed to wear the CAM boot when I was out of the house but wanted something that would give me lateral support when in the house and when I went to bed at night. I tried so many supports from Amazon that didn't work for me I was afraid Amazon was going to cancel my membership due to the high number of returns. This one finally gave me most of the support when out of the CAM boot that I sought. It is not like the rigid CAM boot but it makes me feel that I am adding support. The only thing I wish was that there was extra thickness laterally but I just wrap some ACE bandages over this for additional anchoring.

Es justamente lo que buscaba, después de una gran lesión de ligamentos del tobillo quería algo que lo sujetase bien y esta tobillera cumple todas las expectativas, tiene varias cintas para sujetar y unas placas laterales de plástico que hacen de refuerzo, sin duda la recomiendo a gente que haya tenido una lesión.

Gut anzulegen, gutes Tragegefühl, gibt Sicherheit. Ich verwende es inzwischen ohne die seitlichen Stäbchen. Passt in so ziemlich alle Schnürschuhe.
