First of all I want to state that you don't have to use it often and you don't have to press the button for very long, a very quick press is all you need! Because it does bother their ears! And please don't let it get into the hands of children because they won't hear it and they will keep pressing it and possibly put it right up to a dog's ear or cat and it will deafen them. That being said it works! I have two very reactive dogs and instead of barking or going towards dogs and people they now come toward us instead when dogs are barking or when people are approaching which is exactly what you want. The key is timing and again don't overuse it! One of our dogs is actually afraid of it so we try not to use it too often. Another thing to note is one of our dogs barks when she is happy so you have to be careful when you use it because you don't want her to not be happy. In short it works just use with caution!

We own 2 German Shepherd siblings that are 9+ years old. GSD's are known to be very talkative. But, they have a tendency to go overboard, especially my female. Her brother has a medical condition, and as he weakens, she is showing signs of separation anxiety, when I leave the room. Her barking has gotten bad. I don't want to discipline her in a negative way, so I wanted to try an ultrasonic noise to break her barking.It's working well, especially considering her age and breed of dog. I'd sat that she's barking 1/2 as much. Sometimes she will react by barking more. I just change the frequency. For the most part, it breaks her concentration on the bark, and she looks curiously at me.Interestingly, it works beautifully when one of our young cats scratch something other than their scratching post. They immediately stop. So, it serves a dual purpose.Due to the nature of these ultrasonic frequencies, it's best to use it in the same room as the animal. I know other units claim to work over longer distances, but the truth is that all of these units work best within 16 feet of the animal.Overall, I find that the unit works very well. It definitely would work better on a younger dog. This is a much better alternative than any type of negative response to barking. Once you break their concentration while barking, it's important to praise then. In dogs with high prey instincts, like German Shepherds, positive reinforcement is crucial.My girl has been barking inappropriately, because of stress. It's important not to add to her stress. I keep it on the lanyard, hanging on my side with my keys. I've only had the unit for about a week or so and I see a big difference. The bonus is that it works very well on the cats when they scratch inappropriately.

للأسف لايؤثر كثيراً كما حل بقية الأجهزه من هذا النوع تحتاج تلك الأجهزه إلى قوة موجات من 4 إلى 5 أضعاف قوتها حتى تؤدي الغرض ويقال عنها جيدة.نصيحتي هي أن لا يهدر المال على أجهزه لاتجدي لمجرد مايقال عنها من قبل المتاجر أو الثقة في التعليقاتهذا رأيي الخاص بعد التجربة دون تحمل أدنى مسئولية في مواجهة الغير.
