I liked the fact I had a surface where I could do scrimshaw without using an endangered species for my work. I've been having problems lately finding surfaces to do scrimshaw. The surface of these knife handles will need to have the surface smoothed and polished, but this would need to be done even if you were using them as knife handles. At least when I cut these down into cabochons they will have the thickness I need. I just wish I could find something like this but a bit cheaper.

Small, not straight or flat. (think potato chip) , big chip out of one end, not even remotely ivory like In texture, you can see the fabric in it not even trying, it's just low quality fabric micarta someone made themselves. Garbage. Don't waste your money or time.They did refund my money, so there is that.

Nice patterns , good ivory color good quality

The scales definitely look nice, but they’re very brittle and cracked on me while working them. Very disappointing.

Shipping a bit slow but the product meets my expectations.
