Bought to use outside the front door of a flat. The Key Safe has a heavy duty metal case and removable front cover. It secures to the wall with up to 6 screws that can only be accessed from inside the case. The PIN code was easily programmed into the keypad and the manufacturer recommends using a 4 digit code although you can use less or more numbers, you cannot use the same number twice. Once the PIN number is entered into the keypad the front cover is easily removed revealing the key attached to the rear of the keypad, the case is large to hold 2 'Yale' type keys but not large enough to hold a mortice lock key. The cover is easily placed back into the Key Safe and locks automatically, The Key Safe could easily be used by somebody with arthritis and is a much safer alternative to leaving a key under a flower pot, stone or mat. It also comes with a heavy duty rubber cover which attaches to the back of the safe for external use. I could have spent more money of a Key Safe but am quite happy with the quality of this one. I would not hesitate to recommend this product.

Dieser Schlüsselsafe wird hier bei amazon von diversen Anbietern unter jeweils leicht anderem Namen vertrieben. Einfach mal suchen und jeweils den günstigsten Anbieter raus suchen. Zum Zeitpunkt meines Kaufs war dieses Produkt hier das günstigste.Man muss sich im Klaren sein, dass die Möglichkeit der Codekombinationen eingeschränkt ist. Denn jeder Knopf ist entweder gedrückt oder nicht, sprich, es kommt nicht auf die Reihenfolge der Zahlen an. Das macht diesen Safe vermutlich unsicherer als andere Modelle mit 4er Zahlenkombination zum Drehen. Allerdings wirkt dieses Modell extrem stabil. Keine Ahnung, was passiert, wenn man mit dem Vorschlaghammer drauf haut. Ob dann die Schließfeder nachgibt und die Klappe aufspringt? Ich denke jedenfalls nicht, dass man den Safe in zwei Hälften schlagen kann - er ist aus massivem Guss - entsprechend viel wiegt er auch.
