J'ai acheté ces bottes pour mon gendre qui chausse du 51.Et pourtant, c'est du 50; on ne trouve pas plus grand. Eh bien, selon lui, elles sont trop grandes. Incroyable !! Je ne vais les changer car je les ai eues à bon prix pendant le black friday, car le prix va de pair avec la taille. Mon gendre en est quand même content.

Having researched welly options, I decided that as a professional dog walker - with fat calves - I needed a boot that was comfortable and durable. Having decided on Aigle Vario and read the reviews I understood these sized up generously, so as I usually take a 5-5.5 in shoes & a 6 in boots (with thick socks) I opted to purchase the 5.5 size. When they arrived I initially I thought they were too big even with generous socks, but as I added an 'ortho sole' to support my foot arch (I have problems with my feet!!) I am now pleased with the extra space as these boots are fairly slim fitting on the foot & ankle. They are a bit 'long' in the foot but as I have a fairly high instep I suspect a smaller foot size may have been too tight elsewhere.Overall, I am very pleased with the boots & am content to have paid for the quality - so long as they last the distance. I am not intending to wear them during the summer months when my walking boots will take over. The rubber is not rigid but light & flexible & the sole is sturdy with the footbed being soft and padded, my ankle and foot do not move about when walking. Maybe, in future, I may consider the ISO version for extra warmth but the reviews put me off the lining!!

These are fantastic rain boots. Among the best you can get anywhere. They're incredibly comfortable, well made from top quality materials, and while they look good (as rain boots go), they're not trying to make a statement (looking at you Hunter and Le Chameau) - they're just really good boots.They run a bit large. It seems like they're made to be worn with very thick socks. If you're in a warmer area, you might want to buy some foodbed inserts. I bought some fairly thin Sorbothane full length ones, and now the boots fit perfectly with normal socks.
