I needed to cut some 0.8mm steel into 4mm strips after looking at various tin snips I settled on these. The serrated cutting edge and the measurements etched into the jaws swung me to get these and I'm glad I did, they made cutting the strips of steel easy dispite the thickness of the material I was cutting, they also didn't wander off the cut line like some I have used. They have a nice weight to them and feel well put together and the markings on the jaws are accurate letting me cut consistent 4mm strips 300mm long very pleased with them
