Yeah just sprinkle some of this on your food and it just tastes better. That's kinda about it. Tasting it straight is strange. It's not salty, sweet, bitter, sour but has a strong savory flavor that lingers in your mouth.Generally 1 to 2 gr per 200/300 gr of meat, vegetables or carbs (rice, pasta, noodles etc)

Tastes like chicken, don't get it - I DONT recommend this! It's been derived from chicken broth, probably not pure MSG at all.

Might be better than table salt when it comes to health, but damn it sucks in flavor
