The design means that the lid falls off when pouring out the last of the contents of the pit. As the lid is hot it's awkward to hold on. Not good enough for the price, returned.

It's a great tea pot. I bought it about a year ago and it's still shiny. The teapot feels robust and of high quality. Indeed there's a little sharp edges in the lid, as some reviewers reported. Surely you don't have to touch the edges if you clean the pot using a dishwasher. I do it by hand and I never really had problems with the rough edges. Of course, never touch the teapot after pouring hot water into it cause the metal will get very hot. I really can recommend this teapot.

Produit très élégant. Avec une grande contenance donc pratique. Garde très bien la chaleur. En revanche l'extérieur est brûlant quand on a versé l'eau. Mieux vaut éviter de toucher les parois. Attention avec les enfants.
