ik heb de thermoskan Skyline in een winkel gekocht voor 73 eu! (op amazon veel goedkoper) omdat hij er mooi uitziet. Hij houdt de thee ook goed warm. Ik liet per ongeluk het deksel (30 cm) vallen, en die was kapot. vind ik wel vreemd voor zo een dure kan... Op hun site staat dat je makkelijk een nieuwe deksel kan bestellen maar dat is helemaal niet het geval. Ik ben nog steeds aan het uitzoeken waar en hoe ik een deksel kan bestellen...

There is simply nothing like a glass thermal carafe to keep your coffee fresh and hot. Stainless steel or plastic may keep the temperature steady but they'll also make it taste nasty. FIND THE GLASS.I had an old Alfi I'd gotten at a Marshalls/TJMaxx type store years ago and it's great. But over time the seals get a little loose so I ordered this one and (after a brief difficulty) I finally got it and it's lovely.Note: CHECK FOR GLASS BEFORE YOU OPEN THE BOX. The first one they sent me was NOT properly packaged and I could hear the shattered glass without even opening the packing box.The vendor must've thought it was a small ding b/c they offered me 10% off to keep it. L. O. L.That said, they shipped another immediately and it arrived in a reasonable amount of time.It's a very pale, matte lilac color and looks very slick & modern. Even the inside has a purply sort of color!Remember: it's glass inside, you can't handle it roughly or bump it against things. There are maintenance instructions - read them and do them. The glass carafe is held in by the base and you have to check the seal periodically & maybe tighten it. It's how you keep quality things nice, just do it.I've used it for my coffee for almost a month now and I'm sure it will serve me well for years. It keeps my coffee hot and fresh for at least 2 hrs (prob longer, I usually drink it within that time).I wash it with hot soapy water after each use and about once a week I add some baking soda, which helps "fizz off" any coffee/cream residue and make it nice & fresh. Be sure it's dry before you put the lid back on, especially if you don't use it regularly.All in all, I'm glad I got this. Having the first one come broken was disappointing but the vendor fixed it quickly & w/o hassle so still worth it.

Edit one month after purchase: I accidentally dropped in from less than 1 meter for the first time to my carpeted floor and it shredded right away… I would have expected it to be a little more sturdy. Love everything about it but to be honest quite disappointed that it isn’t tempered glass and breaks so easily.The color looks even better in real and I like that it doesn’t make any noise, but do note that if you don’t fill the hot water up until the rim the hot air inside creates some kind of suction that wont allow the water to pour out, and when you try to unscrew the cap the pressure is so high that it jumps. So that part you need to be careful and I just always fill it up to its max after a few attempts.

Hab mir die Kanne bestellt, da ich von einer Alfi Thermoskanne gute Qualität erwarten kann. Optisch ein sehr schönes Produkt, Kaffee hält ein paar Stunden warm, aber nicht heiß, wäre nicht so schlimm, da wir ihn ja gleich trinken wollen. Was mich aber am meisten stört, ist, daß die Kanne tropft, nach jedem Ausgießen bleiben Tropfen hängen, die unschön an der Kanne herunter auf die Tischdecke laufen.
