I decided to leave my review for a while but it is now a year since I used this product.It has absolutely surpassed all expectations.Easy to use and it brought what was my cream (beigey) looking sofas back to their original colour and lustre.After a whole year scratches and scuffs still covered and it has not cracked or faded.My sofas live in a very hospitable home with lots of visitors and they have lasted brilliantly.One large bottle did both 2 seater sofas with a tiny bit to spare!100 % recommendation from me, great product and fantastic value!

I bought the cream colour and it was a bit lighter than expected (more off-white and not much yellow) but that was fine. When I added the first couple of coats, I didn't notice much difference and I felt a bit disappointed. I think the reason was because I was adding it very lightly, dabbing directly from the bottle. I then decided to pour some in a tub and apply more generously this way (I used a washing up sponge which was a good size for the job). After two coats doing it this way, I could see a massive improvement with much better coverage. My sofa was in a really bad way, with lots of worn out areas and dye transfer from dark clothes, so it looked more grey than cream. This colourant has made it look like new. It's now been a few weeks since I painted it and there's been no issue at all with it coming off or staining. Make sure you give it about an hour between coats or use a hair dryer to speed things up. I made the mistake of trying to add a coat too soon which just removed the previous coat and made it look patchy. It was easy enough to fix though after letting it dry properly and adding more coats. I would say about 3-4 generous coats is enough to cover deep stains and scratches. I still have 3/4 of the large bottle left so it goes a long way. It would be handy if they sold small sample pots for colour matching. If cream is this light, then light cream and ivory must be virtually white. In my case I wasn't so precious about my sofa as I got it second hand (cheaper than this colourant!). Overall I was pleased with the results and recommend if your sofa is in need of a new lease of life.... p.s. wear gloves as it really sticks to the skin!

Very happy with the colour I wanted to brighten my lounge. so I ordered the largest bottle of cream dye 1000ml but it has only covered one sofa but it’s quite a large. I’ve ordered another bottle to complete the job I’ve put a before and after photo as I did find other peoples photos very helpful when I was deciding which product to buy. Also with applying it I found it much easier and less messy putting it on with a paintbrush as someone else had suggested thin layers are best and dry each one I had to do three coats but had to cover a very dark brown.

I had a very dark green suite, 20 years old but in immaculate condition. Very expensive when bought about £3k even then. Wanted more modern neutral look. Could find what I wanted, but the quality just not there. So re-coloured light cream. I am just finishing the last piece, but the results are amazing. A LOT OF WORK - needed to put on 7 layers of paint, because going from such a dark colour to light. If I were changing to dark brown / black, 2 or 3 layers. Very time consuming but the results amazing. Looks like a brand new suite. Would recommend and I would buy again.

Not a bad product but 4 coats and still not covered up wear and tear area. Looks OK from a distance
