At $0.06 each, these are an excellent value. If you research the universal part number (1N5399), some suggest that the voltage rating is more like 1500 volts, as opposed to the advertised rating of 1000 volts. Not sure how accurate that claim is, but even at the lower 1000 volts, it is a great value.

I didn't see many reviews for the BAT43 diodes, so I wanted to leave feedback here. I needed a few Schottky diodes for a project, and took a chance on these. They arrived quickly, were well packaged, and there were indeed 50 diodes. Some reviews mentioned unmarked diodes, but these are all marked BAT43 on the case.I pulled five from random points along the string and tested them at 0.1mA and 1mA. Forward voltage was right around 0.2V at 0.1mA for all five. At 1mA, it ranged from .265 to .28V. I tested two others at 10mA and found them to have a forward voltage from .37 to .38V. That's all pretty much what the BAT43 datasheet says they should be, so I'm confident these will work for me.
