OK, except for this particular vest in the the dark red, I returned every other Allegra K vest that I bought. First I bought several colors in the XL, which turn out to be way too big for me with my pear-shaped body type at 5'9'' and 180lbs. I returned all of the size XL Allegra K vests I bought. I also returned every Allegra K vest in size large - this style and the collarless style, because the manufacturer used bright white seam biding to finish the armholes instead of a matching color. When wearing the vest open, even in the size large the bright white seam binding shows! To me, as a seamstress from my early childhood and forward, what they did with these vests looks really cheap and unprofessional.I don't know how, but I happened to get this collared vest in the dark red and in size large, which fits beautifully, made with matching seam or bias binding. So, this dark red vest is the only collard Allegra K vest I kept and I won't have to change a thing to enjoy wearing it. That is the only reason I gave this vest 5 stars. I got lucky and got a good one. If I had gotten this vest with white seam binding, I would've given it 2 or 3 stars, because the binding issues is pretty bad, in my opinion. Otherwise, I like the style, the colors and the fit of the large.
