A touch too much treble but.......... such an easy fit, great quality and the treble people mention is soon levelled as sooon as the EQ is used. I also took the bass down a touch too. End result..... perfect balance....would I reccommend? Oh yes, buy it, cheap but with quality. Materials are all good too, buy with confidence!

Easy to install , good item

This microphone feels sturdy and can do the job nicely. You may want to do a little experimenting to see where it sounds best in your drum. I picked a spot about halfway up, as I use a kick pedal with mine that strikes near that level. It's also high enough that if I use the cajon with my hands it picks up the snares nicely, but I usually have them loose and just use it as a kick.USEFUL NOTES:1) Do not mount it in the middle of any surface, put it closer to and edge. If you put it in the middle it will ring like crazy at that panel's resonant frequency. It gives you a lot of sound, but it is not a sound you will like. Put it closer to an edge for a richer, more balanced tone. I mounted mine so that the microphone head is about 1/4" from the side of the drum.2) Do not over-tighten the nut when installing. It is easy to strip it if you apply a lot of force. A decent firm hold will be sufficient, especially because the threaded finish piece will lock the nut in place.3) Use the mic with a DI box like the Pyle PDC21 if you are on stage. This will let the signal travel cleanly for a longer distance, and the low-impedance signal level is a better match for most mixers. You can get the DI from Amazon here:

Es funktioniert gut für den Preis aber da keine Vorverstärkerung vorhanden ist muss die aktive Box fast auf maximale Lautstärke gestellt werden um was hören zu können oder man koppelt davor einen Mic Booster!Alles in allem für ne Session in einem Proberaum oder kleines Restaurant zu gebrauchen!
