Asked to remove a mouthpiece from a friend's cornet . Tried hot and cold and tried gentle persuasion! Not a chance . Didn't want to spend a lot just to fail . It was tight but it popped out a treat !

Suono il flicorno soprano o flugelhorn, mi è capitato più volte di dover eseguire brani con il bocchino non appropriato a causa del bloccaggio dello stesso sullo strumento. Finora mi sono avvalso del mio amico e vicino di fila che gentilmente, con un attrezzo simile, mi faceva la semplice operazione di estrazione. Ho deciso ora di acquistarlo e tra le varie proposte di Amazon ho trovato questo articolo che risulta eccezionale. È ben fatto, semplice e risulta facile e rapido nell'utilizzo. Cosa importante, essendo costruito in alluminio, è forte e robusto. Al contatto, non danneggia né lo strumento né il bocchino.Uno strumentista di ottoni, l'estrattore lo deve avere nella custodia.

Der Mundstückabzieher macht einen sehr soliden Eindruck. Die Flügelmuttern sind allerdings etwas klein geraten, so dass man eventuell noch eine Zange braucht um mehr Kraft ausüben zu können.Bei mir hat es mit einem festsitzenden Posaunenmundstück prima geklappt.Empfehlenswert!

The jaws do not fasten tightly enough as the main screws then apply pressure directly to the (loose) sliding parts once I begin tightening the device. This then gives them enough play to lose grip and scrape nastily down the receiver. One mouthpiece, still stuck, and one damaged/gouged instrument later, this is going back. Don't waste your money. I've just ordered a Bobcat version and will review that one once it's had its turn...
