Bought for my fender bass ,like all grt ideas its simple but brilliant,,no filing nuts but it's adjustable nut the nut goes up and down with just 2 screws,so no filing and u can adjust the height u prefer ur nut to be in by simply adjusting ur nut up or down, simple idea but so effective

Worked great for my Warwick Streamer Rockbass that came with a broken nut base plate.Two tips:1. Before installation screw in and back out the height adjustment screws a few times. They are plastic and the holes were not fully clean on the back end. Using them a bit got them moving good before installing with strings.2. The base plate has a flat side that goes against the neck, I needed to sand it down a bit to make the base plate narrow enough to snugly fit in the grrove the original plate was in. Just some sand paper on a flat surface and check often. Once dry fitted I used 2 drops of superglue and held perfectly in place. Make sure the rounded side is facing away from the frets and towards the tuners.
