I love the brand and all 4 different design pairs of the shoes that I currently own. I have to say be cautious of ordering black shoes because I've order these and the Escalante 4 in black and both have come in dark grey. I still love them. They just don't know their colors.

Inside the shoe where your toes sit, on the top, at the point where the fabric transitions to the toe guard, there is a rubber/plastic lip, and every step I take my big toe nails catch the lip, silly design, completely impractical and not comfortable.

These are neat looking trainers that don't look bulky like many modern ones do. The sole is quite thin, which gives them that more compact look, but it still provides enough cushioning for comfort. I found them very comfortable and have used them for long walks and my feet still feel fresh afterwards. The toe box is quite wide, so that helps too, especially if you have got wider feet. They feel supportive and well made, so I'm really pleased with them.
