Very good set for beginners or advanced anglers.I love the fact that the box contains everything you need to go fishing as soon as you get it.There are a few lures, hooks (quite big so I used a different size hook I had in my tackle box), a few line attachments, and a line.The reel is not pre-lined so you will have to add it on but that's not a problem. You can always use a different line if you're going for bigger fish or if you want a different type of line.The fishing rod is lightweight and seems to be well made. The only minor downside I've noticed is that the bottom section (1st telescopic part) is easy to damage. While I was lifting the section, I heard a cracking sound (NOTHING BROKE) but I'm not sure if this will snap with a heavy fish on.The reel is smooth and the bearings and gears seem to be very good so far. There is plenty of space for the line on it (0.2/240 0.25/200 0.3/140) which is very good and the gear ration is 5.2/1. Very happy with the reel.I would be careful as the carbon parts (only the first and second ones) seem to be easy to damage after a drop or casting a very heavy lure/sinker.For the price, it's a great rod and I would recommend it.
