Functional, build quality, design.

I was looking for some magnetic mount that would also fit with the cover, as the lens gets dusty (from cotton fibers) when kept in the pocket. This one seems to work almost perfectly.There is a small gap in the lens cover, so it’s not 100% dustproof, but I would say it’s good enough.

With a bit better construction this could have been a five star review. This gizmo comes in two parts, a bottom magnetic clamp for temporary mounting somewhere and top piece to turn it into a carry case.The top part is a complete let down, check the pic out, it doesn't close properly. Even if it did fit, the plastic fasteners open with the shallowest of touch. This part of the case is ridiculously flimsy and I don't trust it. The carry case that comes with the Osmo 3 creator kit is absolutely solid, check out the side by side pic. Heavens forbid you drop this expensive piece of equipment but which would you choose if this did happen?The magnetic bottom part is a little better but still concerns me, I'd need to take it on and off quite a bit. There are some plastic latches that hold the camera inside and I don't know how long they'll last.There is some good stuff!The magnet is super strong and I'd have no worries about using to mount while out filming. The Allen key is a nice addition to change the tautness of the mount, these things do loosen over time. Finally, it comes with three metal plates with adhesive backs If you did want to semi-permanently fix it to, say, tile, wood or something similar this will let you do that.

This is a nice combo protective cover and magnetic stand for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera. It fits perfectly and provides good protection for the lens, screen, and buttons. The main cover opens clamshell style. and holds via side clasps. There is a single lens holder on the inside of the cover to provide some storage. The plastic is thin, and the clasps hold nicely, however, I would be concerned if the clasps would hold if the camera were to be dropped.The separate bottom piece is made of thicker, sturdier plastic and is holster style. The bottom is open to allow for usb charging. Additionally, there is a side cutout for microSD access. The back of the bottom piece has a folding mount which allows for additional mounting or selfie stick options. The back also has a locking magnetic plate which serves two purposes. You can use this as a secure attachment by feeding a belt or strap behind the magnetic plate. The plate can be release by pressing the two pressure pins on each side of the bottom piece. The magnetic plate has good strength and attaches securely to metal surfaces.Overall, this a well designed and inexpensive DJI Pocket Osmo 3 accessory with a few primary concerns from my use. 1) the top cover doesn't feel sturdy. It's fairly thin, and I'm not sure how it would perform if dropped. 2) I wish it could hold more lens. The DJI cover/case can store 3 additional lens 3) the microSD opening is concerning. It seems like an easy way to accidentally release the microSD, as it would only take some pressure to the microSD to release it.
