Solid product, but boom arm was not in the package. However, they sent me a good replacement arm. Very happy with the customer service.

After receiving it it was impossible to remove the bolt at the bottom to open up the legs. The spring in there is too tight causing that to rotate along with the bolt.

This is the AMBITFUL Stainless Steel Heavy Duty C-Stand, 150 cm - 320 cm. What can I say? Well, I'll tell you all about it. This comes as a set of two.The design is sturdy, flexible and will likely be trouble free. This setup should hold up for several years to come. It does come with a few extras which are nice if you need them. This is also likely a basic generic design used by other companies.Included is a nice cloth carrying case. This is nice if you’re going on location a lot. But, if you’re not, it’ll be something you’ll rarely if ever use.On the subject of the bag, there are small individual pockets for large plastic clamps that could be used to secure a backdrop. I have lots of those and adding a pocket for each one just seems odd.The stand will still get scratched a bit if you use the case but I suppose it’ll be more for keeping everything together and keeping other items that doesn’t have a case from being scratched. It’s slightly padded and looks nice but something I will rarely if ever use.It does come with a basic sand bag and if you use it, it’ll be like a field day at the beach with sweeping up sand. Putting sand in plastic bags first before putting it in the bag probably will save you a lot of problems. I can see this probably working with large gravel or marble chips that have been washed of dust and allowed to dry.It comes with two attached adapters at the end of the boom arm that look like brass. This isn't brass unless brass sticks to a magnet. These have the standard thread sizes with a different size on each end. They are very securely attached and I doubt these adapters ever will come off the arm. Why they chose to make these brass colored when it’s steel I have no idea.The tubes do appear to be stainless steel and the connecting joints look to be stainless as well. In fact, the majority of this setup (excluding the accessories) is metal. If you use these outside, you may find that the stainless steel will work better for you than painted black because it won't get as hot in the sun.I find that the caster wheels are cheaply made but work. The locking caster brake is actuated by the foot and works. These stands can be used with or without the wheels that are easily attached with metal collars.Here is where it pays to be mindful of the setup of the wheels. If you install the wheels with the locking screw on the wrong side, the wheel will be at an angle, dragging the whole thing along. They won't work. I made that mistake at first. However, properly installing them allows the wheels to be properly angled to the floor with no problem.All in all, this is a solid setup, standard and appears to be ruggedly built. The uses of this C-stand is only limited by your imagination.

Hatte bisher immer nur so billige Stative die auch nicht besonders Robust waren. Habe jetzt mal mehr Geld in die Hand genommen und würde es jederzeit wieder tun. Das Ding ist komplett aus Stahl gefertigt und das merkt man nicht nur am Gewicht sondern auch am der Standhaftigkeit (Neidisch guck :D).Egal ob ich da meine Vollformat Kamera dran hänge für eine Topdown Aufnahme oder meine Godot SL-W60 + Softbox da wackelt gar nichts.Ich spreche eine uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung aus, irgendwann werde ich mir auch einen 2. holen, wenn ich ihn benötige.

I bought this C-Stand from a recommendation of a professional photographer I follow on YouTube. The C-Stand was shown and setup demonstrated. I was immediately interested since I wanted to have a solid stand for heavy lights and safety. I was not disappointed. The C-Stand is solid, setup is easy, and the bag to carry everything makes it convenient. Additionally, in contrast to traditional C-Stand prices, this one was within my budget. I highly recommend it.
