Als fervente zwemmer is dit een zeer goed hulpmiddel als je bijv. traint in open water waar wat golfslag is. De verlengbare luchtbuizen en techniek geven je een groot ademcomfort. Je ondervindt alleen een kleine extra ademweerstand welke voor mij geen hinder is. In het begin als je het toestel gebruikt wel even nadenken over je ademtechniek omdat je in en uit ademt onder water met de mond; Deze werkwijze staat duidelijk beschreven in de handleiding. Ik vind het product een meerwaarde voor de fervente zwemmer. Voor recreatief gebruik en kinderen zou ik het niet aanraden.

As a novice swimmer who wanted to spend more time focusing on cardiovascular exercise than learning how to breathe properly in freestyle stroke this product is exactly what I needed. I swam for 5 sessions before incorporating this device and it has made a world of difference in my experience.Liberating is the proper word to describe this shift. I really feel like I am literally "flying" when I use this piece of kit. It allows me to maintain neutral alignment while taking full deep inhalations and exhalations, building a great rhythm with my stroke without any process being interrupted. Since I am no longer gasping for short bursts of breath, I do not experience the CO2 build up and fatigue which was plaguing my early swim sessions and restricting both the duration of my sessions and the length I was able to swim.Using this device, after only 2 sessions it allowed me to achieve for the first time in my life a mile distance through 33 laps in a 25 yard pool. I now swim a mile every Tuesday & Thursday in between my MWF weight lifting schedule and it has really proven to be an excellent purchasing decision.I love the fit and finish and setup of the product, it is a joy to use. Literally the only thing I would change or like to see in the future would be an all clear plastic version. I imagine it would be a lot more expensive but it would look that much cooler being totally transparent. The white and blue is pretty sleek tho and by no means are the aesthetics an issue whatsoever. Just a little day dream I had when using it the other day.I bought the Wave edition primarily for all the extra cap accessories, but also for the hard case. It allows me to transport and store the device on top of my gym bag with my training fins resting on top and I never have to worry about the device being crushed or mangled. The hard case is nice, the only way it could have been improved is if they added a bungee tether over the main component "pocket" which would secure it in place even if the case was accidentally left open. That being said the lack of this strap is not really a negative, just the only other thing I could think of that would be a nice addition to an already very well thought out piece of equipment.I have not used the Flip Caps yet but I am planning on graduating to flip turns very soon and I will update my review when I have some experience with them.This device is the crown jewel of my swim kit which is comprised of: Speedo Nemesis Contour Paddles, DMC Elite Swim Fins, Speedo Long Hair Cap, Speedo Solar Brief & Aquasphere Kayenne Goggles.

AMEO has created a product for people who love to swim. Whether simply piling up laps in the pool or working on technique this piece of equipment is an absolute blessing. The breather clears easily in the event of some unlikely water and is so much easier to use than a cheaper snorkel. Este producto aunque caro (pensé que aguantan vendría incluido) es sumamente práctico y a demás puedes cambiarle las válvulas al final deLos tubos respiratorios para poder hacer el ejercicio de respiración más fácil o más demandante. Después de probar este No creo volver a usar los anteriores. Fácil de ajustar a la medida de tu cabeza. No te osa por en medio de la cara si no por los lados, lo que me resultó más cómodo y práctico.
