Produit pour utilisation très occasionnelle, fait juste le job. Durabilité et qualité pour le moins douteuse, mais, comme souvent, en relation avec le prix et la provenance.

The 'butterfly' design is very tidy and unlike some reviewers I have no problem with plastic so long as it's the right plastic. This is guesswork but from the finish and behaviour the black folding casings are some kind of fibre-reinforced material a couple of millimetres thick, giving slightly and recovering if (gently) squeezed, while the red 'blade' is 5mm thick and appears to be a slightly resilient formulation of industrial nylon. If I'm right (big if) both are reasonable selections since all they have to do is protect and present a couple of diamond-coated stainless steel slips that are the working surfaces. On my example both were dead flat and immovably attached on receipt and they are still in that condition after testing on scrap steel and dulling the razor-sharp corner of some damaged glass.(After use I routinely clean diamond-coated tools under running water and to my eye there was no sign clogging or 'bald patches'. The unusually coarse texture probably helps with both.)A pleasant surprise was that the fit is such the thing unfolds easily but stays open, and when used as a file if grasped firmly with one hand while guiding the tip with thumb and forefinger it is very easy to file with the whole length and width of both diamond surfaces so long as the strokes are light and steady. While I seriously doubt it will outperform the sort of hideously expensive pocket tools raved about on YouTube it works, nothing has broken, loosened or failed to perform the limited sort of tasks I expect might arise in a suburban environment short of a zombie apocalypse...PSIf, as other reviewers have stated, the rivets do failbreak I'll probably replace them with a couple of 'Chicago' screws from the oddments bin a highly recommended standby no one seems to have heard about that these days are almost impossible to find in any physical outlet but are easily ordered on-line, post-free, from China... alternatively I might thread some cord through the holes and use the business end thing as a key fob for the garden shed. Try doing *that* with a Lanksy Puck, not that you'd want to at thirty dollars for two, plus international shipping!

Yep, a Tortoise! Ours is the small type and her beak does get a bit long and trying with a nail file does not work well, I need to be quick, for her and my fingers! This is rough and it is diamonds so gets the job done quick and does not hurt her bottom lip, perfect!
